CHELSEA GUETZ

CHAMPIONSHIPS COORDINATOR

Chelsea Guetz joined the Mountain West Conference on July 1, 2007 after completing an internship in the conference's championships and communications departments. In addition to assisting with the day-to-day operations of the MWC championships and communications departments, Guetz handles the organization of various elements for nine MWC championship events, coordinates the production of game management policies and handbooks, and serves as the league's primary media contact for cross country and indoor and outdoor track and field as well as the secondary contact for women's basketball.

A native of Kiowa, Colo., Guetz graduated from Colorado State University in 2006 with a degree in technical journalism. While at CSU, Guetz was an active member of the university's chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, serving as president in 2006. In addition, she was a four-year volunteer coach for the Fort Collins Soccer Club, a member of the Mortar Board National Senior Honor Society and the publicity director for CSU's National Organ Donor Awareness Competition team. While attending college, Guetz completed media relations internships with the Colorado Rapids Major League Soccer team and the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo.

Guetz resides in Colorado Springs, Colo.
