NORMA CARR, COORDINATOR OF VOLLEYBALL OFFICIALS

Entering her ninth year with the Mountain West Conference, Norma Carr lists extensive experience as an official and coordinator on her resume', including nine years as the women's volleyball officiating coordinator for the Western Athletic Conference (1991-98). Her officiating career spanned 24 years at the high school and collegiate levels, including work in basketball, volleyball and softball. Carr officiated numerous state high school and national collegiate championships, and she was named to the Utah High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame in 1996. Carr established and implemented an officials association in Utah in 1976 and served as the chair of the National Association of Volleyball Coordinators for one season (1995-96). She continues to serve as an officiating clinician and instructor.
