COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV middle blocker Blair Wilkes was named Mountain West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, marking her first overall award.

A 6-3 senior from Las Vegas, Nev. (Durango HS), Wilkes was named to the all-tournament team at the UNLV/Hard Rock Thanksgiving Classic after leading the Rebels to a 1-1 record vs. a pair of NCAA Tournament teams. In a four-game loss to Washington State, Wilkes recorded a .433 hitting percentage with 16 kills, four digs and four blocks. In a three-game sweep over Oral Roberts, she hit .381 with 11 kills, eight blocks and three digs.

For the week, Wilkes averaged 3.86 kills per game, .86 digs per game and 1.71 blocks per game, while hitting .412.
