For the next 16 years, she covered events such as the Super Bowl, heavyweight title fights, golf's majors, NCAA Final Fours, NBA and MLB playoffs, and six Olympics, at times doing double duty as both producer and on-camera talent. She won three National Emmy Awards during her time at ESPN. In 2005, she began calling volleyball for CSTV, while covering football, volleyball, track and field and soccer for ESPN.

Gant, a 1998 graduate of BYU, brings an extensive volleyball background to television. She was a three-time All-American for the Cougars and played for the U.S. National Team from January 1998 to September 1999. An NCAA Woman of the Year top 10 finalist, Gant was the color analyst for the 2000-05 Mountain West Conference Volleyball Championships.
