CSU's Kerr Named MWC Volleyball Player of the Week Sophomore garners honor for first time this season.
Nov. 18, 2002 COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado State libero Lindsey Kerr was named Mountain West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, marking her first overall award. A 5-5 sophomore from Fort Collins, Colo. (Fort Collins HS), Kerr broke the single-match Mountain West record for digs with 29 in the victory over Utah, a win that helped the Rams clinch a third straight MWC regular-season championship. In a win over BYU the following night, Kerr added another 14 digs which moved her into first place on the Mountain West season dig chart with 383, breaking the mark of 375 by Utah's Alisa Geddes (1999). For the week, Kerr averaged 6.14 digs per game.
