Even Dozen Utah middle blocker Kim Turner garners POW honor for the 12th time in her career.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Utah middle blocker Kim Turner earned Mountain West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week honors. Turner is a 12-time award winner.
A 6-2 senior from Chandler, Ariz. (Dobson HS), Turner guided the Utes to road wins over San Diego State and UNLV last week. Turner hit over .400 points higher than her season average vs. the Aztecs as she totaled 20 kills in 25 attempts with just one error for a .760 clip. She also totaled four digs and four blocks as she led Utah to its first win over the Aztecs in San Diego since 1999. The All-America candidate hit .476 (25-5-42) vs. UNLV, matching her career-high with 25 kills. She added four digs and six blocks vs. the Rebels as Utah closed out conference play with its best league mark in school history at 12-2. For the week, Turner averaged 5.62 kills, 1.0 digs and 1.25 blocks per game, while hitting .582 (45-6-67). She currently leads the MWC (conference matches) in hitting percentage (.434), and ranks second in kills per game (4.53) and blocks per game (1.47). Including 45 kills in two matches last week, Turner posted an MWC record 231 kills in conference play this season, edging Michele Rauter's (Wyoming) record of 230 kills last year in MWC matches.
