    COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The 2004 Mountain West Conference Women's Volleyball Championship will be held November 18-20 at Moby Arena on the campus of Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo.

    For the fifth straight year, the Mountain West Conference Volleyball Championship will be televised, with this season's tournament marking the first time ever that all seven championship matches will be made available to a national audience by College Sports Television (CSTV). In addition to CSTV's national coverage, matches can be seen on over-the-air and cable affiliates throughout the Mountain West Conference region.

    Four matches are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 18 to start championship play. The opening match will see No. 1 seed Utah (21-4, 13-1 MWC) taking on the No. 8 seed Air Force (4-20, 0-14 MWC) at 11 a.m. (MT), followed by fourth-seeded UNLV (14-11, 8-6 MWC) and fifth-seeded Wyoming (13-13, 6-8 MWC) at 1:30 p.m. (MT) No. 3 BYU (17-10, 9-5 MWC) and No. 6 San Diego State (4-23, 4-10 MWC), and tournament host No. 2 Colorado State (22-3, 13-1 MWC) and No. 7 New Mexico (9-16, 3-11 MWC) will wrap up quarterfinal play at 4 p.m. (MT) and 7 p.m. (MT), respectively. The first-round winners advance to the semifinals Friday, Nov. 19 at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. (MT). The championship will take place Saturday, Nov. 20 at 3 p.m. (MT).
