Air Force Coach Penny Lucas-White:
Colorado State looks great ... I hope they make it to the Final Four ... We
are young and we'll build for next year ... Colorado State is ready to
move beyond our conference ... They are a seasoned team and they expose
your weaknesses.
Delavane Diaz, Air Force Freshman:
The season went OK for my first year ... As a team we are moving in the
right direction and I am looking forward to spring (practice) and next
season ... This year is about getting experience ... I think we came out
ready to play, they were just better.
Colorado State Coach Tom Hilbert:
We played a complete match tonight ... We were aggressive in our serving ...
We did some things in our game plan that worked for us ... We double
blocked their (Air Force) top hitters ... We played intense the whole
time. ... Last year, we battled more than we did today. We look forward to
tough matches. It's good for the team. It gives us confidence.
Angela Knopf, Colorado State Junior (on the tournament):
In the MWC everybody plays hard and this is the highlight week of the
year ... We expect great play from all the teams. We fully expect tomorrow
to be tough matches, and that brings out our best.
Courtney Cox, Colorado State Junior (on the CSU offense):
We are quick on offense, so it's hard for other teams to adjust ... They
have to wait for the set to see where the ball is going ... Tonight was a
match to get the offense clicking.
