UNLV Coach Deitra Collins:
I think Utah came out and played very well ... they had a good game plan to use against us ...Utah was touching and running down balls that I've never seen them do before ... in the first two games, this is the best I've seen them play.

We got into a good serving groove in game three which helped us in that game... we didn't pass well and weren't able to get into a groove on offense ... we were able to play with Utah at times but they showed they are the more mature team ... Utah is the better team right now.

Our goal is to see improvement every day and I think we're definitely better now ... as a team we have become a team - we were very fragmented at the beginning of the year.

Amber Graham, UNLV Junior:
Coach tells me that when I play better our team plays better ... we are a very young team with a lot of freshmen.

Utah Coach Beth Launiere:
UNLV played a good match and I thought we played a good match ... we played very well the first two games ... we let them off the hook a bit in the third game ... they are a very athletic team that can do some damage in the first round of a tournament.

I feel like we are playing our best volleyball right now ... we've had to deal with injuries this year but we've been in a flow the last few weeks with the lineup we've been playing. Kim (Turner) is confident and very level headed which is part of what makes her play so well.

Kim Turner, Utah Freshman (on playing BYU):
We know we can compete ... our strength is our team and we are confident we can play with them. You have to be confident and play more aggressively in a tournament.

Lucie Turkova, Utah Senior (on playing BYU):
We are a pretty good matchup against BYU ... we need to play our game and get into a flow ... we will need to stop Nina (Puikkonen) and Sunny (Tonga) ... it should be a great match.
