COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Utah senior setter Kelsie Kartchner earned Mountain West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, marking her second career honor.

Kartchner, a Pleasant Grove, Utah, product, led the 17th-ranked Utes to sweeps over conference opponents San Diego State and UNLV last week, tallying her eighth and ninth double-doubles of the season in the process. Against the Aztecs, she totaled 15 assists, 10 digs and nine kills on 21 attempts (.333 efficiency), finishing one shy of her third career triple-double. She also had three service aces and a block. Kartchner hit a season-best .632 against UNLV, racking up 12 kills and no errors on 19 attacks. She also helped set the Utah attack, collecting a match-high 26 assists for her second double-double in as many matches, and six digs.

For the week, Kartchner averaged 6.83 assists and 2.67 digs per game, while tallying three aces, three blocks and hitting .475 (21-2-40) in two matches.
