COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - No. 24 Colorado State earned a share of the 2011 Mountain West volleyball regular-season championship with a 3-0 win over Wyoming on Friday night. In other action, Boise State defeated Air Force, 3-0.
Boise State Sweeps Air Force Nov. 4, 2011 - Darlene Nwagbuo led Boise State with a career-high 15 kills as the Broncos swept the Air Force Falcons in straight sets 25-13, 25-23 and 25-16 in a Mountain West volleyball match Friday night in Boise. The Broncos hit a solid 37.6 percent in the match compared to the Falcons' 11.4 percent. The victory gave Boise State its second sweep of the season in league play defeating both Air Force and Wyoming twice. The victory improves the Broncos to 15-13 overall and 5-7 in Mountain West action with two matches at home next week against San Diego State and UNLV to close the regular season. [READ MORE]
