Nov. 3, 2012 - San Diego State regained sole possession for first place in the Mountain West as it came from a set down to defeat Fresno State, 3-1 (22-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-23), Saturday afternoon at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif. With their seventh straight victory, the Aztecs improved to 18-7 overall and 9-3 in conference play as they moved into a half-game lead on Colorado State (8-3) and a game up on UNLV (7-3) which hosts Nevada later tonight. Boise State Dominating in 3-0 Win Over New Mexico
Nov. 3, 2012 - Boise State volleyball was dominating in a straight set 25-11, 25-18, 25-15 victory over Mountain West rival New Mexico Saturday afternoon in Bronco Gym. Boise State was in command of the match throughout hitting .267 percent while holding the Lobos to .032 percent. Taylor Murphey led the Broncos with nine kills followed by Liz Harden with eight. Nov. 3, 2012 - The UNLV volleyball team (16-8 overall, 8-3 Mountain West) won its seventh straight contest over the Nevada, Reno Wolf Pack (4-21, 1-11 MW) with its 3-0 sweep on Saturday night in the Cox Pavilion. The win by set scores of 25-8, 25-20, 25-18, secures three points for UNLV in the Governor's Series' standings - the Scarlet & Gray won this season's earlier meeting in Reno by a 3-2 score.
