Air Force -- Air Force posted an 0-2 record in MWC play last week, losing to UNLV and San Diego State...Only two Falcon players (senior Carly Siefken and sophomore Brooke Akers) hit above .000 vs. the Aztecs last Saturday...Akers and senior Kristin Hamlett collected three and six total blocks last week, respectively...Akers moved into fifth on the all-time AFA Division I single-season career solo blocks list (25), eighth on the total blocks list (78) and 10th on the assisted blocks list (53)...Hamlett is currently tied with Akers for fifth on the single-season solo blocks list (25).

BYU -- BYU went 2-0 last week, including a conference win over TCU...The Cougars (20-0, 11-0 MWC) are off to their best start to a season since 1977 (23-0) and are now one of only three undefeated teams in the nation...BYU joins No. 1 Nebraska (21-0) and second-ranked Washington (20-0) as the only teams yet to lose a match on the season...The Cougars are now ranked 12th in the latest CSTV/AVCA Top 25...BYU has swept eight of its last 10 matches...Junior Lindsy Hartsock is currently leading the nation in hitting percentage (.474) and has recorded efficiencies of .500 or better in 14 matches on the year...Sophomores Chelsea Goodman and Erica Lott rank 1-2 in kills per game in the conference...Goodman averages 4.12 kills per game, while Lott averages 3.99...Lott has recorded double-digit kills in every match this season...The Cougars are 14th in the nation in hitting percentage (.284).

Colorado State -- The Rams went 1-1 in MWC play last week...Colorado State's five-game loss to TCU last Tuesday was its second in a row, marking the first time that the Rams have lost back-to-back conference matches in league history...Senior Tess Rogers moved into seventh on the CSU career kills charts vs. Wyoming last Friday...She now has 1,423 career kills, which also ranks fourth in MWC history...She needs two more kills to move into third place...Senior Casey Bauer notched a career-high 17 digs vs. the Cowgirls, marking the first time in six matches that the libero Katherine Whitney has not led the team in digs...Senior Dre Downs moved into a tie for 10th in total blocks in the Ram record books last week...She has 377 career blocks, sharing the spot with Esther Langley (1995-98)...Downs also moved into seventh in career block assists with 334.

New Mexico -- New Mexico went 0-2 in conference matches last week, losing to San Diego State and UNLV...Freshman Sarah Kwasigroch dished out all 28 of UNM's assists vs. the Aztecs and 30 of 34 vs. the Rebels...Junior Kelly Therkelsen continues to move up the all-time Lobo charts for block assists...She now sits in fifth place with 227, and needs 19 to move into fourth, 23 to move into third and 26 to move into second.

San Diego State -- The Aztecs went 2-0 last week, defeating New Mexico and Air Force...The Aztecs hit .324 vs. the Lobos, its highest efficiency since hitting .420 vs. Wyoming on Sept. 24...SDSU held UNM to a .115 hitting percentage, including .065 in the second game and -.032 in the third...Freshman Alicia Waller hit .857 (6-0-7) vs. the Falcons...The Aztecs hit .452, .435 and .444 in games one, two and three, respectively, vs. AFA, marking the first time this season SDSU has recorded three consecutive games over the .400 range...Sophomore Aime Cordeiro continues to lead the MWC in digs with an average of 4.87 per game...In MWC play, Cordeiro averages 4.94 digs per game which also ranks first.

TCU -- TCU went 1-2 in MWC play last week, defeating Colorado State and losing to then-No. 13 BYU and Utah...Freshman Nirelle Hampton recorded 29 assists and 10 kills for her third double-double of the season vs. the Cougars...She recorded 58 assists on the week and currently sits at 945 for her career which is fourth all-time in the TCU record books...Junior Anna Vaughn is currently second in the MWC in service aces per game (0.48), third in the MWC in kills per game (3.82) and seventh in hitting percentage (.303).

UNLV -- UNLV defeated Air Force and New Mexico in league play last week...The Rebels tallied a season-best 14 service aces vs. the Falcons...UNLV outhit the Lobos .248-.173, hitting above .200 in all three games, while holding UNM under .200 in two of three games...Freshman Melody Nua currently has a team-best 963 assists (11.46 per game), which ranks second in the MWC...Sophomore Jada Walker collected 25 digs last week, giving her 766 for her career, which is fourth on the all-time UNLV digs chart.

Utah -- Utah swept TCU in its only action of the week...The Utes have won five straight matches, hitting .286 over that span...Utah has hit no worse than .248 during this stretch, topping out with a .333 effort vs. Air Force on Oct. 15...Utah is hitting .230 on the season...In the last two matches, the Ute defense held San Diego State to a .089 hitting percentage and TCU to a season-low .008 efficiency...The Horned Frogs had 34 kills, but committed 33 errors on 118 swings...Utah has held its opponents to under a .100 hitting percentage in six matches this season...Sophomore Emillie Toone and freshman Lori Baird tallied six total blocks each vs. TCU...The duo has accounted for 214 of the team's 297.5 total blocks (72 percent) this season...Toone ranks second in the conference with 1.48 blocks per game, while Baird averages 1.29 blocks per game, ranking fifth.

Wyoming -- The Cowgirls were swept by Colorado State last week...Sophomore Rachel Smith led the Cowgirls with seven kills and 13 digs...Wyoming hit a season-low .035 (32-37-142) and were outblocked 12-7 by the Rams...Wyoming ranks second in the MWC in digs per game (14.43) and third in service aces (1.78)...Freshman Carissa Lee is currently sixth in the league in digs per game (3.35) and has recorded double-digit digs in 14 of 20 matches so far this season.
