COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - UNLV senior setter Nicki King earned Mountain West Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, marking her first career weekly honor.

King, a Phoenix, Ariz., native, led the Rebels to a conference win over San Diego State last week. In the three game sweep of the Aztecs, she tallied 48 assists, nine digs and four kills in six attacks (.667 hitting efficiency). King averaged 16 assists a game, helping UNLV to a .422 hitting percentage for the match, marking the first time this season the Rebels hit over .400. She also had an average of three digs, 1.33 kills and .667 blocks per game as UNLV won its third straight MWC match for the first time since the 2002 season.
