Mountain West volleyball will be on national television for the seventh time this season on Friday night when UNLV travels to San Diego State. AnneMarie Anderson and Amy Gant will call the action from courtside at Peterson Gym on The Mtn. (DirecTV 616). Match time is set for 6 p.m. PT.
The Mountain West has had at least one team receiving votes in the AVCA Top-25 Coaches poll every week since the league began in 1999. That's 202 straight weeks. Colorado State continues to receive votes this week after dropping out of the Top-25 a week ago.

UNLV is tied for fourth in the nation with nine 5-set matches played this season.

UNLV head coach Cindy Fredrick is expected to coach her 800th collegiate match on Saturday, Oct. 22 at Cal State Bakersfield.
Color October Pink ... Several teams throughout the Mountain West will be participating in breast cancer awareness promotions during the month of October. Air Force's `pink' match is set for Thursday, Oct. 20 vs. Wyoming.
While she may not make the Mountain West career assists list with just one season in the league, Boise State senior setter Breann Nesselhuf is closing in on her 3,000th career assist. Nesselhuf currently ranks fifth on the Broncos career list with 2,893 assists over three-plus seasons. When she hits the mark, Nesselhuf will become the fifth Bronco to reach 3,000.
The Youth Movement ... Air Force is the second youngest team in the country with 92.3% of its roster made up of freshmen and sophomores, edged out by Buffalo at 92.8%. The two teams are the only two programs in the nation to have at least 83% of its team in either their first or second year of competition. San Diego State falls in at No. 7 on the list at 73.6% underclassmen.
