WEEK SEVEN REVIEW
Colorado State (14-3, 6-0 MWC) took sole possession of first place in the Conference standings with wins at San Diego State and Air Force last week. Utah (12-6, 5-1 MWC) fell to second in the league rankings after going 1-1 on the week, while TCU (16-5, 5-2 MWC) and BYU (9-8, 4-2 MWC) remain third and fourth, respectively, after both splitting their matches last week. The other five league institutions maintained their positions in the standings with New Mexico (12-6, 4-3 MWC) and UNLV (4-10, 2-4 MWC) in fifth and sixth, respectively, and San Diego State (7-10, 2-5 MWC), Wyoming (10-10, 1-5 MWC) and Air Force (8-11, 0-7 MWC) correspondingly in seventh, eighth and ninth.

WEEK EIGHT PREVIEW
MWC institutions begin league play with three matches on Thursday. First-place Colorado State plays host to BYU, while TCU hosts UNLV and Wyoming welcomes Utah. The TCU-UNLV contest will air via same-day tape delay on The Mtn. at 7:30 p.m. MT. San Diego State hosts Air Force on Friday night, while Saturday's schedule will see UNLV at New Mexico, a potential battle for first place featuring Utah at Colorado State, and BYU at Wyoming. In non-conference action, New Mexico will travel to Las Cruces, N.M. to take on intrastate rival New Mexico State on Tuesday.
