WEEK SIX REVIEW
No. 13 Colorado State (13-1, 4-0 MWC) defeated Air Force (4-13, 0-6 MWC) to maintain its lead in the conference standings. UNLV's (10-7, 3-1 MWC) four-set win over San Diego State (4-10, 1-3 MWC) last Friday gave the Rebels sole possession of second place in the MWC, while Utah (11-4, 3-2 MWC) went 2-0 in conference play to move into a tie for third with New Mexico (13-3, 3-2 MWC) and TCU (14-4, 3-2 MWC), who both brought home 1-1 records in league play last week. Wyoming (3-10, 2-2 MWC) moved into sixth place with its win at Air Force, while BYU (9-5, 2-3 MWC) dropped to seventh in the standings after going 0-2 in MWC play.

Four nationally televised matches highlight this week's schedule as the MWC heads into its fourth week of conference play. The Mtn. and CBS College Sports Network will broadcast one live match apiece, while two other matches will air live on BYU-TV and be shown tape delayed on The Mtn. The television slate kicks off Thursday with UNLV at Utah airing live on The Mtn. at 7 p.m. MT, while San Diego State at BYU will broadcast live on BYU-TV at 7 p.m. MT and re-air on The Mtn. Friday, October 10 at 8 p.m. MT. Other Thursday matches pit New Mexico at Wyoming and TCU at No. 13 Colorado State. Three matches are set for Saturday, with the UNLV at BYU contest airing live on BYU-TV and re-airing on The Mtn. Sunday, October 12 at 2 p.m. MT. San Diego State at Utah and TCU at Wyoming are also on tap for Saturday. Sunday's New Mexico at 13th-ranked Colorado State match-up will be shown live on CBS College Sports Network at 1 p.m. MT.
In non-conference play, Colorado State visits Northern Colorado on Tuesday, while Air Force hits the road to face Chicago State on Friday and Southern Illinois-Edwardsville on Saturday.
