WEEK THREE REVIEW
Heading into the start of league play this week, New Mexico remains atop the standings with a 7-1 record, followed by TCU at 8-3 and Colorado State at 7-3. Air Force, Colorado State and TCU all finished with 3-1 records on the week, while New Mexico and Wyoming tallied 2-1 marks. Colorado State and TCU were crowned tournament champions at the Carolina Classic and Akron Invitational, respectively.
WEEK FOUR PREVIEW
The 2009 Conference season begins this week, highlighted by two nationally televised matches. New Mexico hosts TCU to kick off the six-match league play slate on Wednesday at 7 p.m. MT. Thursday's Conference matches pit Air Force at Utah and San Diego State at BYU. The Aztec-Cougar match-up will be shown live on BYU-TV and re-aired on The Mtn., Saturday, Sept. 19 at Noon MT. Colorado State at UNLV is slated for Friday, while San Diego State at Utah and Air Force at BYU is set for Saturday. SDSU at Utah will be shown via tape-delay on CBS College Sports Network, Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 5 p.m. MT.
In non-conference action, Utah will host 12th-ranked Oregon on Tuesday, while TCU hosts Tulsa and Wyoming visits Brown on Friday. In tournament play, New Mexico will compete at the Arizona Invitational in Tucson, Ariz., while Wyoming will play at the Holly Young Invitational in Durham, N.H., and TCU takes on Arkansas State and Texas-Arlington
at the UT-Arlington Hilton Invitational in Arlington, Texas.
