COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference today announced its 2007 volleyball television schedule, which features an unprecedented 18 appearances for the league.

"Because of the multi-faceted television package the conference has structured, we're able to provide more exposure to our institutions and student-athletes, which helps with recruiting and fan support, and provide a more comprehensive, informed and entertaining television experience for our fans," said MWC Commissioner Craig Thompson.

Eleven regular-season matches (seven conference tilts and four non-conference matches) and seven MWC Women's Volleyball Championship matches are included in the package, with The Mtn. - Mountain West Sports Network, airing 13 contests and CSTV broadcasting three matches.

The first television broadcast of 2007 will be Utah vs. 2006 Final Four participant UCLA, which will take place on Friday, August 24. The Utes-Bruins contest will be shown live on CSTV as part of the 2007 AVCA College Volleyball Showcase from Omaha, Neb.

For the eighth straight season, the MWC Tournament will be televised. Quarterfinal and semifinal matches will be shown on The Mtn., while the championship match will be broadcast live nationally on CSTV, Saturday, November 24 at 8 p.m. PT.

Bill Doleman and Anne Marie Anderson will call the play-by-play for all MWC television broadcasts, while Amy Gant and Andrea Lloyd will be the color analysts.

A native of Fairbury, Neb., Doleman is a veteran sportscaster who has called games for ABC Sports, Fox Sports Net, the NCAA, CSTV and ESPN Networks. He has done extensive broadcast work with the Mountain West, Missouri Valley and other conferences. He has covered football, basketball and baseball, as well as Olympic sports including volleyball, gymnastics and wrestling. A graduate of the University of Nebraska, Doleman was the play-by-play announcer for the 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 MWC Volleyball Championships.

Anderson began working for SportsChannel in New York as a college student and following graduation, she joined ESPN's coverage team. For the next 16 years, she covered events such as the Super Bowl, heavyweight title fights, golf's majors, NCAA Final Fours, NBA and MLB playoffs, and six Olympics, at times doing double duty as both producer and on-camera talent. She won three National Emmy Awards during her time at ESPN. In 2005, she began calling volleyball for CSTV, while covering football, volleyball, track and field and soccer for ESPN.

Gant, a 1998 graduate of BYU, brings an extensive volleyball background to television. She was a three-time All-American for the Cougars and played for the U.S. National Team from January 1998 to September 1999. An NCAA Woman of the Year top 10 finalist, Gant has been the color analyst for the past seven Mountain West Conference Volleyball Championships.

Lloyd played 14 seasons of professional basketball in the WNBA, ABL, Italian and European leagues. She earned a gold medal with the women's basketball team at the 1988 Olympics, and was a four-year starter and three-time first-team All-American at the University of Texas, helping the Longhorns win the national championship in 1986. Lloyd began her broadcasting career with FSN North in 2002, where she worked as a color analyst covering University of Minnesota women's basketball and the WNBA Minnesota Lynx. Since that time, she has worked for FSN North, FSN Midwest, FSN Southwest, CSTV and others.
