COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

The Mountain West Conference 2009 volleyball television schedule was released today and features nine matches on national television. Six matches will be shown on The Mtn. - MountainWest Sports Network, while three will air tape delayed on CBS College Sports Network.

CBS College Sports Network's first television broadcast of 2009 will feature the Saturday, September 19 match between San Diego State and Utah. The match will air via tape delay on CBS College Sports Network on Tuesday, September 22 at 5 p.m. MT. The first broadcast of the year on The Mtn. will showcase New Mexico at Colorado State at 7:30 p.m. MT on Thursday, September 24.

CBS College Sports Network is widely available on cable systems across the country and via satellite on DIRECTV (Channel 613) and Dish Network (Channel 152). The Mtn. is carried nationally by DIRECTV (Channel 616) and numerous cable operators representing over 200 municipalities in nine states.

The MWC anticipates additional television and non-conference road match information once those conferences announce their television schedules, and Conference television partners release their re-broadcast program slates.
