Air Force Drops 3-0 Decision to Wyoming

In its final road contest of the season, the Air Force volleyball team lost a 3-0 decision to Wyoming on Saturday, Nov. 7, in Laramie, Wyo. The Falcons dropped the first two sets by close 25-20 and 25-22 decisions, before finalizing the match with a 25-12 loss.

All four home teams held court on Saturday to end this week's Conference play. Colorado State, TCU, New Mexico and Wyoming defeated San Diego State, Utah, BYU and Air Force, respectively. Colorado State brought home the 700th win in its program's history with its win over SDSU.

It was an exciting night from start to finish for the University of New Mexico volleyball seniors as the Lobos beat BYU, 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-23) in the final home match of their collegiate careers. Anna Lehne, Rose Morris and Allie Suiter were introduced with their parents, along with the four BYU seniors - Morgan Lloyd Sorenson, Marisa Boaz, Kayla Walker, and Stephanie Lau - prior to the start of the match.

The TCU volleyball team extended its winning streak to eight match with a 3-1 (25-21, 24-26, 25-20, 25-7) victory over Utah Saturday afternoon. The win moves the Frogs to 23-5 on the season and ties the single-season record for wins. Kourtney Edwards and Kristen Hester led the high-powered Frog offense with 17 and 11 kills, respectively.

The opportunity for the Lobo seniors Saturday night in Johnson Center has the makings of a special way to walk off their home floor -- with a win over Brigham Young. Of course, it is a payback kind of win. The Lobos went up to Provo, Utah and were slapped down somewhat unexpectedly by the Cougars. It's also a much-needed win as the Lobos try to charge into the NCAA Tournament with an at-large invitation. A win over BYU could just do the trick. The three Lobo seniors to be honored Saturday are Rose Morris, Anna Lehne and Allie Suiter.
