Looking ahead to the spring season...
Rams' tennis finished its fall season and will now be off until the spring. In January the team travels to Lincoln, Neb. where they will compete against Creighton and the University of Nebraska. Nebraska had three players advance to the round of 32 at the ITA regional championship with Gitte Osterman winning the championship. Creighton finished sixth in their confer-ence returning four from last year's roster. February features a dual with New Mexico State on the 12th. The Aggies return three seniors and a junior after finishing seventh in the Sun Belt Conference tournament last season. After a spring break trip, the team heads toUtah where they will face Utah State, BYU and the University of Utah. The Rams have faced an opponent from each of these schools in tournament play this season. The Rams then travel north to Laramie where they will spend three days facing Mountain West opponents Wyoming, New Mexico, and Air Force. To finish the dual season, they return to Colorado where they will face Denver, UNLV, and San Diego State in Fort Collins and Northern Colorado in Greeley. CSU tennis will end its season with the MWC Championships and the NCAA tournaments in May.
