Colorado State's Carla Pallares and Jasmin Singh were knocked out of the qualifying draw at the Wilson/ITA Region V Championships in Tulsa, Okla. on Wednesday.

Pallares, a junior from Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., won her first round match over Cheyenne Reveche of Utah 6-2, 6-2 before falling in the second to Tulsa's Kindsay Grimes 6-2, 2-6, 10-6.

Singh, a junior from Coppell, Tex., was knocked out of the tournament in the first round by Wyoming's Corina Lazar 6-3, 7-5.

CSU's Dasha Zhurin and Emily Kirchem will compete on Thursday in the Main Draw competition as play resumes in Tulsa.
