ATHENS, Ga. - The No. 4 seeded TCU duo of Ana Cetnik and Anna Sydorska defeated the No. 23 ranked tandem of Audrey Banada and Romy Farah of Miami, 6-4, 7-5, on Thursday at the NCAA Division I Women's Individual Championships held at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Ga. Cetnik and Sydorska will move on to the round of 16 where they will face the No. 29 pair of Caitlin Whoriskey and Zsofia Zubor of Tennessee on Friday.

"Ana and Anna maintained a winning attitude as they have all year," said TCU head coach Jefferson Hammond. "If they keep the expectation level high, they will have a lot of success. They will have to earn everything, as they had to today."

Cetnik and Sydorska, who have already earned All-America status this season in doubles play, were leading 3-1 in the second set before the Volunteer duo won three consecutive games to take the lead at 4-3. With the match deadlocked at 5-5, the Frog duo won two games to clinch the victory.

With the win, both Cetnik and Sydorska claimed their 32nd doubles victory for the 2006-07 season, which moves the tandem into sole possession of third place all-time at TCU. The win was also Cetnik's 93rd career doubles victory, which ties former Frog Karla Mancinas for third spot.
