FORT WORTH, Texas - Senior Helena Besovic, junior Ana Cetnik and sophomore Nicole Leimbach will continue their 2006 season on Wednesday when the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships begin in Stanford, Calif.

Besovic, currently ranked 28th in the ITA singles poll, earned an at-large bid to the competition after posting a record of 30-8 during the 2005-06 season. Named the 2006 ITA Southwest Region Senior of the Year, Besovic tallied a 19-match win streak spanning from March 5 to May 13.

Also a strong competitor on the doubles side, the senior grabbed a doubles spot in the tournament alongside Cetnik. The duo is currently ranked 14th and posted a mark of 12-2. The pair played an extremely strong match in TCU's Sweet 16 match versus top-ranked Stanford. Besovic and Cetnik led 3-0 before the No. 1 ranked team of Alice Barnes and Anne Yelsey rallied and prevailed 8-6.

Rounding out the Horned Frogs' trio is sophomore Nicole Leimbach. After missing the opening matches of the spring season, Leimbach came in and tallied a 16-6 record at the No. 1 position. The Colorado Springs, Colo., product closed out TCU's Mountain West Conference Championship run with a 6-4, 6-1 win over 24th-ranked Olga Boulytcheva of BYU. Currently, the sophomore holds the No. 15 slot in the singles poll.
