May Madness
The 46th-ranked San Diego State women's tennis team will learn if it has a spot in the NCAA championships at 2:30 p.m. Thursday when the NCAA holds its internet selection show. Should the Aztecs earn an at-large bid they would compete in regionals May 12-13 at a site to be determined with the finals being held May 17-25 in Stone Mountain, Ga. The 64-team tournament field contains 31 automatic qualifiers. The Aztecs, who finished the year 17-8, 6-1 MWC, have earned a spot in the NCAA team championship five of the last six seasons and advanced to the second round of last year's tournament, where they played Wake Forest.

The Selection Show
The team will be watching the selection show from the Aztec media relations office located in room 109 of the athletics building. The internet selection show is available at www.ncaachampionships.com. Click on "women's tennis" on the left side of the homepage which will take you to an option to access the show.
