Mountain West Announces 2010-11 Women's Tennis All-Conference Awards

FORT COLLINS, Colo. -

The Mountain West announced its 2010-11 All-Conference team and individual awards for women’s tennis today. The Mountain West awards are selected by the league's nine head coaches.

Utah’s Anastasia Putilina was named Player of the Year after a stellar junior campaign. A product of Belgorod, Russia, Putilina posted a 23-13 record this season, including a 6-1 mark in Conference matches at the Utes’ No. 1 singles position.

UNLV’s Lucia Batta earned Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors after netting a 24-11 overall record this season, including a 4-4 mark in Conference action at the Lady Rebels’ No. 1 singles position.
