Rams' Women's Tennis Team Loses, 5-2

Colorado State wins two of three doubles matches.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - The University of Colorado's women's tennis team defeated Colorado State, 5-2, Saturday afternoon at Miramont Tennis Center in Fort Collins.

Colorado State won two of three doubles matches, but lost five of six singles matches in falling to 6-16 on the season.

The team's No. 2 doubles team of Amanda Bartz and Bobbe Vasos earned an 8-2 win while Dasha Zhurin and Alexandra Paganetti won in a 9-8 tiebreaker in doubles competition.

Colorado State's lone singles win came by Zhurin, who defeated Kendra Strandemo, 5-4, retired.
