Wyoming sophomore Jenny Bowman has been named Mountain West Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for the second time this season and in her career.

Bowman, a Sacramento, Calif. product, won three individual conference matches and two doubles matches last week, helping the Cowgirls to their first-ever MWC dual win in the process. She started the week by beating Utah's Linn Ronnberg in straight sets (6-4, 6-4) at the No. 1 spot, and with teammate Jennifer Hancock, defeated Ronnberg and Irini Kotoglou at No. 1 doubles, 9-7. Against #40 BYU, Bowman was victorious over Lu Oswald in straight sets (7-5, 6-1) at No. 1 singles. She ended her week by beating Colorado State's Sanja Hansson (6-4, 4-6, 7-2 default) at the No. 1 position and teamed with Hancock to beat Hansson and Catherine Sullivan at No. 1 doubles, 8-6. On the season, Bowman is 19-5 overall, 14-3 in number one singles dual matches and 4-1 in MWC play.
