PROVO, Utah - The No. 17 BYU women's tennis team (14-4, 3-0) will be in Idaho this week to face Boise State Friday and No. 66 Rice University on Saturday in the Barbara Chandler Classic hosted by Boise State University.

In their last meeting with Boise State (11-5) on January 21, the Cougars tallied a 6-1 win over the Broncos. The Cougars were led by senior Barbora Zahnova as she and Hadley Macfarlane ousted Boise's top doubles seed in a come from behind 9-8 win. Zahnova later blanked Jamima Hayward in singles.

The Broncos are coming off three big wins in Hawaii where they recently defeated Kansas in a 6-1 decision and blasted Hawaii 5-2 on March 22nd.

The 8-8 Rice Owls picked up their last win two weeks ago over Central Florida. Rice dropped its last two matches to Houston and TCU in 5-2 and 6-1 outcomes. The Owls have played 11 of 16 matches at home with seven of their eight wins coming from home-court advantage.

The Cougars begin play in the Barbara Chandler Classic on Friday at 3 p.m. against host Boise State and finish up on Saturday at 1 p.m. as they face Rice respectively.
