COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - New Mexico sophomore Tiffany Robertson has been named Mountain West Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Robertson, a Blenheim, New Zealand, native, went 3-0 in singles play at the UNLV Invitational last weekend, helping the Lobos to a 2-1 record and a third place finish. She started the tournament beating Loyola Marymount's Jennifer Baker, 6-3, 6-3, at the No. 4 position, and followed that with a semifinal victory over #44 Oklahoma's Bethany Griffin (1-6, 6-2, 6-1) at the No. 5 spot. In the consolation championship match versus No. 75 Cal State Northridge, Robertson beat Olga Yepremian in straight sets (6-3, 7-6). She currently is 13-6 overall (7-2 dual) in singles play on the season.
