COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Mountain West conference play kicks off this weekend with rivals No. 23 BYU (10-3) and No. 75 Utah (5-3) facing each other on Saturday. Colorado State, No. 32 New Mexico, No. 34 San Diego State and UNLV will face non-conference opponents over the weekend. The Lobos will take on No. 70 Wisconsin and Houston, while the Aztecs do battle with 69th-ranked UC Irvine and No. 44 Georgia Tech. The Rams will take on New Mexico State, UTEP and North Texas in Las Cruces, N.M., while UNLV will host the UNLV Spring Invitational.
