COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The 2004 Mountain West Conference Men's and Women's Tennis Championships will be hosted by San Diego State at Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif. All eight women's teams and six men's teams will compete in the straight-draw team event for the conference title April 29-May 1. First-round losers shall move to the consolation bracket and first-round winners to the championship bracket in the double-elimination event. Seeding for team position shall be based upon the regular season winning percentage in Conference competition. All requests for media credentials for the 2004 MWC Women's Tennis Championship should be submitted in writing to Assistant Director of Communications Marlon Edge at the conference office.
