COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - New Mexico junior Tiffany Robertson has been named Mountain West Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week. This is Robertson's second career player of the week honor.

Robertson, a Blenheim, New Zealand, native, went 2-0 in singles and doubles play over the weekend against No. 8 Northwestern and DePaul. She started the weekend defeating the eighth-ranked Wildcat's Alexis Prousis in three sets (2-6, 6-4, 6-4) at No. 4 singles. She also teamed with Michelle Heidbrink to beat the tandem of Andrea Young and Connie Chiang at No. 3 doubles, 8-5. Against DePaul, Robertson beat Petra Rehusova in straight sets (6-3, 6-4) at the No. 4 spot and teamed with Heidbrink to beat Karen Falduto and Brenda Leung, 8-3, at No. 3 doubles. Robertson is now 9-2 overall (3-0 dual) in singles competition and, along with Heidbrink, is 11-4 overall (3-0 dual) in doubles play.
