Suvak, a sophomore from Belca, Slovenia, competed at the No. 1 position for the Lobos and defeated the region's 25th-ranked player Yvonne deWaal of Northern Arizona (6-2, 6-4) in straight sets. She teamed with Rachael Hatley at No. 1 doubles and defeated deWaal/Kmiee, 8-2, en-route to New Mexico's team sweep. Suvak is now 11-5 on the year in singles competition.
