Colorado Springs, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference has announced its Academic All-Mountain West Conference honors for the sport of softball. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have completed one academic term at the member institution, maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and be a starter or significant contributor.

Thirty-four student athletes qualify for the academic all-conference team in the sport of softball. UNLV leads the way with nine honorees, BYU and New Mexico follows with seven selections each, Colorado State and Utah garnered four each, San Diego State notched three selections.
