SALT LAKE CITY -- University of Utah softball standouts Diana Phillips and Meghan Crouse have been tagged all-conference by the Mountain West Conference here on Monday.

Phillips, a junior, is named all-conference for the third time in her career. This is the first distinction for Crouse, also a junior.

An outfielder, Phillips' league-only batting average (.381) ranked eighth, tallying three doubles and home run this season. In all games, Phillips hit a team-best .389 and had eight doubles, a team-high four triples and six homers. She also had a .605 slugging percentage and a team-leading .487 on-base percentage. Phillips plated 24 RBI.

Also an outfielder, Crouse had a breakout junior campaign in landing on the all-conference team. She ranked 10th in league-only games, hitting .375. Crouse pounded out five doubles a triple and homer against conference rivals. She finished the season on a seven-game hitting streak. For the year, Crouse hit .337 and had seven doubles, two triples, a homer and 10 RBI.

Utah's regular season ended this past weekend, finishing with a 25-26-1 overall mark and with a 5-14 league tally.

The 20-member all-conference team includes five players from regular-season champion BYU and Colorado State, four players from San Diego State, three players from UNLV, two from Utah and one from New Mexico.
