FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Colorado State University softball fans will notice a few changes at Ram Field this week for the Mountain West Conference Tournament.

The most obvious will be paid admission, with tickets selling for $8 a day for adults, $5 for students, senior citizens and youths ages 18 and under. All-tournament passes, good for all three days, are $15 for adults, $10 for students, senior citizens and youths.

And those fans used to watching from the grass berms outside the fenced seating area will find the view obstructed by temporary bleachers brought in to increase the seating capacity to about 500 from the usual 150 or so available on the field south of Moby Arena.

But the biggest surprise might be that the Rams are the team to beat.
