FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Colorado State, which won the Mountain West Conference Championship, will face the University of Arizona in the opening round of the NCAA Regional Championship, the NCAA announced today. The Rams earned an NCAA bid by winning the league championship and will take on the number-one seeded Arizona Wildcats.

The Rams and Wildcats will play at 11:30 a.m. (Pacific) on Thursday, May 15 in the second game of the day. Cal State Northridge and Minnesota will begin the festivities at 9:00 a.m. (Pacific).

This will be the 20th meeting between the two teams, and Arizona has won the previous 19 meetings. Colorado State is 36-13 on the year, while Arizona is 50-5 and serving as the hosts of the regional championship.
