PROVO, Utah - BYU (33-16, 10-2) looks to improve on its record 13-game winning streak this week starting with its third matchup of the season against Utah Valley State (22-26) on Tuesday at Gail Miller Field. The teams square off at 6 p.m. (MST).

The Cougars are No. 1 in the Mountain West Conference with a record of 10-2. The team can build on its two-game lead over UNLV with wins at New Mexico (18-19, 7-5) on Thursday (12 p.m. and 2 p.m.) and at Colorado State (26-25, 5-7) on Friday (3 p.m.) and Saturday (12 p.m.).

Senior Jodi Norton leads the team and the MWC in home runs (20) and RBI (50). Norton is just one home run shy of tying BYU's all-time single season record of 21. Fans may get a chance to see her do it at Tuesday's game against the Wolverines.
