PROVO, Utah - After a short break, the Cougars are back in conference action at home this weekend, taking on San Diego State in a double-header Friday, April 22 at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 23 against UNLV at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

BYU (32-9) defeated the Aztecs 5-0 and 2-1 in San Diego on April 7. San Diego State has not lived up to their MWC preseason No. 1 ranking having dropped nine out of 10 conference games, However, SDSU pitcher Celena Velasquez has the best ERA in the conference at 1.09.

BYU's matchup against ULNV is shaping up to be a good one as the Rebels trail BYU by one game in the conference standings. On April 9, in Las Vegas, the games were as even as they come with BYU winning 6-5 in the first game of a double-header and UNLV defeating the Cougars 5-6 in the second game.
