BYU and UNLV each recorded two wins en route to perfect conference starts on Thursday, April 5. The Mtn. aired its first softball games as UNLV defeated Utah, 3-2 and 2-1, in Las Vegas, while the Cougars beat the Aztecs, 4-0 and 4-2 in front of a national audience on CSTV.

Conference action continues tonight as Utah faces San Diego State in San Diego, Calif., at 6 p.m. PT, and BYU travels to UNLV at 7 p.m. PT.
