The Mountain West Conference announced today the 2008 softball broadcast schedule that will include 11 games on national and regional television.
Six games will be shown on The Mtn. - MountainWest Sports Network, while two games will be broadcast live nationally on CBS College Sports Network and three games on BYU-TV.
The television schedule begins on Thursday, April 3, as BYU hosts New Mexico in a double-header on CBS College Sports Network at 6 p.m. MT.
The Mtn. will not only broadcast live softball games, but will air pre-game and post-game shows for those contests. The Mtn. will also feature softball coverage on its shows, The Mountain View and The Mountain Cap, which break down MWC games, look ahead to the big match ups on the horizon and feature extensive game highlights.
