Weekly Notes:

* The MWC has three teams advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in conference history.

* The MWC has a 9-12-2 overall postseason record, including an Elite Eight appearance by BYU in 2003. Last season Utah and UNLV advanced to the tournament, with Utah falling to Colorado, 3-0, in the first round and San Diego defeating UNLV, 1-0 (OT).

* NCAA Tournament action begins Thursday, Nov. 10, for BYU and Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. No. 4 seed BYU faces off against Weber State at 4:30 p.m., and Utah hosts Arizona at 7 p.m. MST. BYU defeated Weber State, 5-1, at home on Sept.2, while the Utes fell to the Wildcats, 1-0, on Sept. 16.

* UNLV looks to take on No. 3 seed Cal State Fullerton on Friday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. MST, in Fullerton, Calif. The Rebels have a 2-0 all-time record against the Titans.
