PROVO, Utah - As the top two seeds of this week's Mountain West Conference women's soccer tournament, BYU and the University of Utah are looking to repeat the matchup from last weekend's regular-season finale.

It was the result of BYU's 2-1 victory at Utah Saturday that enabled the Cougars to claim the conference's regular-season championship, earn the top seed in the tournament and enjoy a first-round bye when the quarterfinals start Wednesday.

The three-round, four-day tournament will be played at BYU's South Field, with the site determined by league finishes and factors last season. The tournament winner receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Women's College Cup.

With Saturday's victory, BYU finished 14-5-0 overall and 6-0-0 in Mountain West action. Needing to either beat or tie Utah last weekend to claim the regular-season crown, the Cougars now will focus on winning their fourth consecutive MWC tournament title.
