COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Championship semifinals and title match will be televised nationally by The Mtn. - MountainWest Sports Network. The semifinals will be televised live on The Mtn. Thursday, Nov. 6, at noon and 3 p.m. PT, with pre-game and post-game shows featuring expert commentary from Colorado Rapids assistant coach Brian Crookham. The championship match will be held Saturday, Nov. 8 at noon PT and will air via tape delay at 10:30 p.m. PT and on Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. PT.

The first semifinal (noon PT) will pit #2 seed Utah vs. the winner of the #3 seed TCU/#6 seed San Diego State game. The 3 p.m. semifinal will feature #1 seed BYU vs. the winner of the #4 seed New Mexico/#5 seed UNLV contest.

The 2008 Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Championship will be played at Peter Johann Memorial Field on the campus of UNLV, Nov. 5-8. The championship will feature the top-six institutions in a single-elimination tournament.

Bill Riley will be the play-by-play announcer, with Mark Rogondino as the color analyst. Riley has been the play-by-play voice for major League Soccer's Real Salt Lake for four seasons. He is in his second year handling soccer play-by-play, as well as men's basketball, for The Mtn. Riley is also the program director and afternoon host at KALL 700 Sports in Salt Lake City, Utah. Rogondino has been a member of the Los Angeles Galaxy Broadcast Team for the past two years. The native of San Diego grew up following the Major Indoor Soccer League during the 1980s and became the voice of the San Diego Sockers in 2000. He played collegiate soccer at San Diego State University, where he was the starting goalkeeper during his senior season. Along with soccer coverage, Rogondino continues to pay in a men's soccer league in Orange County.
