COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Ten Mountain West Conference student-athletes were named to the 2009 Academic All-District Women's Soccer Teams. New Mexico's Jael Fanning and Alexis Ball were each honored as first-team members.

New Mexico placed four student-athletes on the District 6 team, including Fanning, Ball, Jessica Quador (second team) and Amanda Collins (third team). TCU's Lizzy Karoly was also honored on the second team.

Air Force's Krystin Shanklin (second team) and Bridgett Murphy (second team) were each honored in District 7, while Utah's Lauren Dudley and Lauren Hair earned second-team and third-team accolades in District 8, respectively. BYU's Andrea Willis was also honored on the second team.
