COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - TCU junior midfielder Jackie Torda and San Diego State junior goalkeeper Aubree Southwick have been named Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively.

Torda, a native of Colleyville, Texas, scored the game-winning goal in TCU's 3-2 overtime victory at UNLV. The midfielder took three shots, including two on goal, while scoring the game-winner in 98th minute of the game. Torda also tallied the Horned Frog's first goal of the game in the 36th minute, drilling a shot from 30 yards out into the upper half of the goal.

Southwick earned two wins vs. New Mexico and UNLV last week to extend the Aztecs' unbeaten streak to 12 games. Against New Mexico, the Danville, Calif., native, faced 10 shots, while making four saves in SDSU's 3-1 victory. At UNLV, Southwick made all five saves, while facing 11 shots to secure the 1-0 win. The victory marked her eighth shutout of the season, which ranks fourth on SDSU's single-season list.
