COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Air Force freshman forward Jennifer Rowland has been named the Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week after helping the Falcons post two conference victories vs. UNLV and San Diego State last week. This is Rowland's second weekly honor of the season.

Rowland, a product of La Canada, Calif., netted two goals on four shots this past week as the Falcons swept conference foes UNLV and San Diego State at home. In Friday's 3-2 victory over the Rebels, she scored the first goal of the match, while collecting the third goal in the Falcons 3-0 shutout of the Aztecs Sunday. Air Force is 7-7-1 on the year and is currently in a first-place tie with BYU in the conference standings at 2-1. The Falcons face the Cougars Thursday in Provo, Utah.
