Colorado Springs, Colo. – Air Force freshman forward Kari James has been selected as the Mountain West Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week. James scored two goals and one assist as the Falcons went 2-0 in conference play this past weekend. Air Force won both matches at home, defeating Wyoming 2-1 and New Mexico 2-0. The wins extended the Falcons streak to three in a row. This is the first time Air Force has won three consecutive conference matches since 1995 when the Falcons were members of the Colorado Athletic Conference. Air Force concludes league play this week with a road trip to Utah on Thursday and BYU on Saturday. James, of Naperville, Ill.
